The 2025 Atlanta Seniors’ Classic Tournament has concluded. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dennis Lockhart, General Manager at Bowlero Austell, and his staff for their exceptional support throughout the 3-day event. We also appreciate the invaluable contributions of Genia Hood, my grand babe Brianna Clark, and my daughter Kenya Clark, all of whom played crucial roles in the tournament’s success. The turnout was impressive, with the first two squads on Saturday being sold out of the 20 lanes available. The unofficial team leaders are as follows: Team “Don’t Leave Nothing Behind” with a score of 2755. Singles: 754. Doubles: 1436. The scratch team leader is “Martini Mix”, Captain Tara Martin (Roll Tide). Congratulations to Joyce Patillo-Johnson, winner of the 50/50 raffle, with proceeds going to the HBCU Scholarship Fund. It was good to see Cookie Parker participating again. Cookie is multi-talented in her creation of Gift Baskets with products for the occasion. Her services are unmatched!! A special thanks to Alex Jordan for handling brackets for the bowlers.
